Apache Tika 3.3.3

Tika 3.3.3 is a support release of the 3.x line; 4.x is the primary release line. The most notable changes in Tika 3.3.3 over the previous release are:

  • Dependency upgrades.
  • XFAExtractor now parses XFA with SAX instead of StAX; XMLReaderUtils.getXMLInputFactory() is deprecated (TIKA-4938).
  • PDF: a bookmark outline is now walked without recursion, and lists nest at most 50 deep (TIKA-4894).
  • OneNote extraction improvements and bounded recursion on malformed input (TIKA-4814).
  • PDFs preceded by a print-composition job ticket are no longer detected as text/x-matlab (TIKA-4782).
